Careful Safety Investigations

A thorough safety inspection is an important part of the caregiver’s role in evaluating the patient’s home and/or surroundings. This short 12-minute training video on home safety inspections takes a fun approach in familiarizing staff with some of the key areas to evaluate when completing a safety inspection in the home environment. The viewer will have an opportunity to participate in identifying the more obvious safety issues shown in two different patient scenarios.
